A truly exceptional trip! The B&W photos are superb. Did you actually shoot them in B&W or convert them later? I don’t think I would have the courage to commit to B&W for the duration of a trip like this, lol!
Erik, I am doing a lot of B&W these days. I shoot everything in RAW, that is collecting all the colour data, and then convert to black and white later (you can manipulate the colour data to change the tonal range). But I always have my EVF in the Manual setting showing only black and white - whether shooting colour or not, it is the tonal contrast that is most interesting and sometimes hard to visualise in colour.
Yes, I’m also shooting RAW and converting later. B&W is something I haven’t tried very much or consistently, but I’ve found interesting results manipulating the color sliders. My camera doesn’t seem to have the option for B&W display on the EVF, so I’m having to just learn by experience.
Excellent. Goes to show how poor my Aussie geography is. I had to look it up. Some lovely images, thank you!
Thank you Søren - it's a beautiful place to explore.
Wonderful photos, James. I have ascended most of those peaks, some in Winter snow. It is fabulous country in any season... You capture it perfectly.
Best Wishes - Dave :)
Thanks Dave - I hope to return to a couple of areas in winter, preferably in a nice weather window for some good light!

What a place and what incredible captures! Your b&w gives them a fantastic feel of solitary peace.
