Stunning images James. I particularly like the last shot with its gorgeous soft tones. I think you have capture the light on the landscape so well.

Thanks Gill - I much prefer those kind of images rather than the "bangers" with spectacular skies

Me too - I love the subtle colours and the delicate play of light on the landscape much more than the shouty colours of sunset.

Stunning photos, as always. I love these eucalyptus trees. Does it smell of eucalyptus in these woods? (I hope this question doesn’t sound too silly).

Thank you Susanne. Some forests smell more of eucalyptus than others, but yes they do. You do get a bit used to the aroma but it is especially noticeable on a hot day.

James, I am floored by these photos! I got goosebumps seeing them! I am at once reminded of my own past trips, but inspired to do better! Such an inspiration!

Thanks Eric. I have learnt that you need to prioritise the walk or prioritise the photography. You can't do both. I focus on the latter - which means more weight, less distance and a lot of additional walking at dawn and dusk. But there have been trips where I have focussed on the walk - the photography is about capturing the adventure, which is what you do so well.
